Friday, August 18th: University Libraries Planner Party in Jackson Library, Lab 177a (3:00 – 4:30 p.m.) — This event is for all journaling and planning enthusiasts. The library will be hosting a space for students to set up their planners, notebooks, and journals to help them succeed this semester. Computers will be available for digital planners or for students to review their syllabi, and plenty of craft materials including stickers, highlighters, and washi tape will be available for physical planners.Tuesday, August 22nd: Legos in the Library in Jackson Library (12:00 – 10:00 p.m.) — Students are invited to drop in any time between Noon and 10pm to unwind with Legos. Students are encouraged to build their best creations, have fun, and celebrate the beginning of the semester. Legos are providedWednesday, August 23rd: Digital Media Commons (DMC) Open House in Jackson Library (3:00 – 5:00 p.m.) — The Digital Media Commons (DMC) will be hosting an open house event where students can learn about technology and be introduced to many of the offerings in the DMC. This includes 3D printers, poster printers, gaming rooms, podcasting technology, and more! Snacks will be provided.In addition to the University Libraries’ events, several other RWW events will be held in the Jackson Library.
