Tammy Williams was recently hired as the stacks manager in the Access Services department of Jackson Library. She is an alumna of UNC Greensboro and holds a BS in special education. She previously worked for Guilford County Schools and University Libraries, where she held positions in both the circulation and cataloging departments.
“When the opportunity presented itself, I couldn’t resist the tug of returning to UNCG and serving the community of scholars that I love,” said Williams.
In her new role, Williams will supervise 30 student employees, who will facilitate and evaluate workflows and initiate new changes to existing library procedures.
