University Libraries has hired Donnie Hardin as an IT Professional in the Electronic Resources and Information Technologies (ERIT) department.
Donnie Hardin is an IT Professional skilled in server software configuration, administration and development. His specialty centers on open source web solutions based on LAMP and other similar architectures.
Hardin works with University Library web applications that are LAMP based, such as the UNC Greensboro Digital Collections site. When he is not submerged in computer code, he collaborates with Library staff to discuss specifications, feedback and ideas concerning improvements to production applications and applications in development.
Hardin earned his BS in Information Systems and Operations Management from UNC Greensboro. His resume’ includes service to major web technology companies in RTP including Red Hat, Inc and Sensus, Inc.
