Rachel Sanders is a 2014 alum of UNCG (B.A. in History) who is returning after earning her Master of Library Science degree at UNC Chapel Hill (class of 2016). She serves as the First-Year Instruction and Social Sciences Librarian. Her primary responsibilities include working with Communication Studies 105 students and being the liaison to the Social Work and Community and Therapeutic Recreation departments. Her professional interests include information literacy instruction, researching library anxiety among students, educational technologies, first-year experiences and furthering professional networks among academic librarians. Her personal interests include cooking, traveling and keeping up with her fiancee and their four dogs.
