UNC Greensboro’s University Libraries will host award-winning author and essayist, Laila Lalami, for an exclusive release and book reading of the newly published work Conditional Citizens (2020) on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Elliott University Center.
Lalami has authored four novels, including The Moor’s Account, which won the American Book Award, the Arab-American Book Award, the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, and The Other Americans, which was a Los Angeles Times bestseller, a best-of-2019 selection from a dozen outlets, and a finalist for the National Book Award in Fiction.
