University Libraries will host the Racial Equity Institute (REI) Phase I Workshop on February 23 and 24, 2019 from 8:30 a.m.-
5 p.m. in the Dail Room of the Elliott University Center at UNC Greensboro. The two-day workshop is designed to help leaders and organizations that want to proactively understand and address racism, both in their organization and the broader community. The workshop will provide an organizational definition of racism, historical factors and talking points with the goal of eliminating racial and ethnic disparities and producing equitable outcomes.
