The hands-on, interactive exhibit highlights local farmers and vendors in the Triad, while also offering opportunities for the community to browse vintage kitchen utensils, view the digital collection and collect recipe cards.
Drawing inspiration from the Home Economics and Household Collection housed in the Martha Blakeney Hodges Special Collections & University Archives, University Libraries strives to broaden the audience of these items for personal use, research and curriculum development.
These events are made possible thanks to grant funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the federal Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
